Dortmund sure Reus Not Natural Serious Injury
Dortmund – Borussia Dortmund can breathe a sigh of relief after the results of further investigation against Marco Reus stated that he only minor injuries that do not need a long absence.
Concerns had struck Dortmund after the star player to be pulled out and could not finish the DFB-Pokal match against Dynamo Dresden.
However, Reus apparently expected no need to pull over for too long due to the injury done following a further examination on Wednesday (03/04/2015) local time.
“Following a further examination on Wednesday, Dortmund can confirm Reus only doubt for the party opposing Hamburg Bundesliga on Saturday and did not face the possibility absent for weeks or months,” said Dortmund as reported by Soccerway.
“Early diagnosis of Dr. Markus Braun team fortunately has confirmed that Marco Reus suffered a bruise just above the knee in the match against Dynamo Dresden.
“No worries about the long-term absences. 25-year-old international will continue to be monitored intensively by the medical department. Attention is specifically directed towards the development of the bruises on the thigh muscles,” explained the statement.
