The case of confrontation with the police, Pique fined USD 152 Million
Barcelona – Gerard Pique Case confrontation with police in Spain in October 2014 led to sanctions. Official court impose a fine of Rp 152 million to the Barcelona player.
Guardian reported, Pique has written an apology in a trial that was held in Barcelona for public order offenses.
Judge Maria Asuncion Gonzalez was sentenced fine of 10,500 euros to Pique after declared “not behave politely and use harsh words”.
The incident began when Pique and his brother, Marc, was driving at Port Olimpic area known for its bars and night clubs. Police were forced to give him a ticket after Marc leave their car at the bus line thus blocking taxis and other vehicles.
After that, Pique just angry and rebuked the officers. However, shortly after this incident the player has apologized via his Twitter account, although not able to prevent him from punishment.
